My engagement with Urban Retreat Garden Design was overwhelmingly positive. I was landscaping around a new pool area and had Amelia come out to do a site visit. She asked lots of questions and was able to understand the vision for my project and produce a plan that delivered on this vision. The plan was very detailed and enabled me to take the guess work out of plant selection, ensuring the plants selected where appropriate for the location and conditions. This also made acquiring the plants easy and planting a breeze. I must admit that employing someone to develop a plan was something that I had not done before, but the investment is without doubt worth it. Urban Retreat Garden Design and Amelia come with my highest recommendation.

Wow, what a difference an hour consult made to our world! Amelia thank you for helping us create a beautiful space to prepare our home for sale. Next time we will definitely hire your services first with our new place, rather than when we are leaving. We fell in love with our house all over again! Your professional advice on the plants, texture, patterns, colour, design and where to source everything from was just invaluable. Your vision is incredible and it was fun running around after you with a pen and paper, mud mapping it all out. (We opted for the one hour walk around the garden consult.) I just want to say that it was an absolute pleasure to have Amelia design the garden for our new house build. Amelia was able to look at what our needs were as a family and create a space that was not only functional but also beautiful. She understood that we were not gardeners and incorporated an easy care factor into the design. The process of designing the garden was extremely easy and very well priced. My partner and I recently purchased our first property that came with a decently sized area for a garden. Unfortunately, we had no idea where to begin and it all became overwhelming very quickly, so we contacted Amelia for professional advice.
